Shane is a great home inspector! He was very thorough and meticulous in examining all the big and little details in the house, including a lot of things I never knew even existed in the home I was about to buy. Shane is a great teacher too: it was very enlightening to me to learn a lot of details on how my to-be-new-home operates, how to take care of appliances, how to make sure the home and the health of its dwellers is safe. Definitely a 5 star experience!
What is a Home inspection?
- Safety is a Primary concern – Is your Home Safe?
- Are you Buying / Selling / Getting a New Built Home?
- Buying a home could be the largest single investment you will ever make.
- To minimize unpleasant surprises and unexpected difficulties, you’ll want to learn as much as you can about your home.
- A home inspection is an objective visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a house, from the roof to the foundation.
- A general home inspection is intended to assist in evaluation of the overall condition of the residential building or condominium.
- The Inspection is based on readily accessible, visually observable, apparent condition of installed systems, structures and components using normal operating controls and opening readily openable access panels, on the date and time of the Inspection, NOT the prediction of future conditions.
- On average, a condo take a minimum of 2 hours to complete, an attached townehome takes a minumum of 3 hours to complete and a single-family home inspection usually takes a minimum of 4 hours to complete, though this is heavily dependent on the of the size and condition of the home.
- After the inspection process, the inspector will send the client an inspection report (usually by the next morning) that covers their findings, complete with pictures, analysis and recommendations.
